the prize is more in the intent than in the spectacle...!

Heard the rueful news about the bloodshed in Baghdad, my heart goes to all who have lost their lives and to those who have suffered due to this violence.

I hope you and your family alongwith your friends & kin are safe, May Allah protect you all.

mezraab,
but watching and observing allows many privileges :D Its more priceless than the prize itself...

As for the bombings...its perhaps no coincidence that as soon as Maliki's (our prime minister) office was threatened by a coup, explosions began all over Iraq...
Corruption to this degree requires a revolution!
Thank you dearly for your kind wishes :)

•...someone asked him one day, O! desert robber, why have you after a lifetime of it stopped cursing these shifting sand dunes...?

and without any hesitation, he answered, 'just that in the evening of my life, I decided to plant green grass & some flowers in my lawn, n when the garden bloomed, I felt the longing that made the dunes move...!

my point exactly, there is no prize as rewarding as preciousness of beholding a pointless spectacle...! You are much Wiser indeed!!

regarding the mayhem, i can understand the machinations of cutting one's nose to spite one's face, have witnessed it firsthand, revolution for sure is the urgent necessity.
